We love love love to camp. This year we brought our friends Amber and Guy, and their 2 little ones Liam and Ella (who also happens to be Brooke's best friend!) with us. It was SO fun. I'm hoping we didn't scare them off for another trip haha. Mary, Loren, David and Amy met us during the day and stayed in a hotel in Bishop for the nights.
Some things I don't want to forget:
*Our 6 mile hike to the empty cabin - Alison, Amy, Liam and Ellie hiked all of it like troopers (Brooke and Ella - notsomuch)
*Liam describing his Dad to me "he looks handsome and prepared!"
* watching Ella and Brooke holding hands as the walked strutted around the campground.
*The kids all telling spooky stories around the campfire
*hiking around Rock Creek Lake because there was so much snow we couldn't drive in
* running while carrying Ellie down the last part of the trail because she had to pee so bad.
* the crap flying off our car - we didn't even know- Amber and Guy picking it all up in their already packed car!
*watching Grandma and Grandpa swing Brooke between them while they walked down the road
*Amy playing with Ellie down by the river
*Mary catching a million fish at Rock Creek!

Wow!! Looks like fun to me. I bet it got chilly at night. How come I don't see a Red Guitar in any of those pics? :-)
